Steven "Steve Rogers", known worldwide as Captain America, is a character created in 1941 by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon and taken to the comic in a new stage by Stan Lee for Marvel. Steve was a thin and sickly young guy that thanks to the serum created by general Chester Phillips became a super-soldier equipped with extraordinary strength and agility. His suit is blue with red and white stripes and a large white star on the chest, like the design of the USA flag. He always carries a shield with him made of Vibranium, which in addition to protecting him from the attacks of his enemies, can be launched like a boomerang to hit their opponents thanks to its incredible strength and lightness. Captain America was the first superhero to form part of the Avengers.
